Weyburn Beavers player, Dominic Bravo, tags a Yorkton Cardinals player out after trying to slide to third during their game Wednesday night. The Beavers met the Cardinals in Yorkton, who currently sit last in the standings. However, that didn't matter last night because the Cardinals outscored the Beavers 7-1. This is the third loss in a row for the Beavers and they now sit fourth in the standings.
They have a chance to break their losing streak tonight at Tom Laing Park against the Melville Millionaires at 7:05 p.m.
The Weyburn Beavers schedule for the rest of the week and into the weekend is an away game against the Millionaires on Friday and a three-game away series against the Moose Jaw Miller Express on Saturday and Sunday (double header).
