A Red Wings player took his best shot at the Notre Dame Hounds goaltender from the top of the circle, during a preseason game on Friday evening at Crescent Point Place.
The Red Wings doubled up on Notre Dame 4-2, keeping their preseason record perfect as they travelled to Wilcox on Saturday evening for the return match.
The Red Wings first game of the season will be hosted on home ice on Friday, Sept. 13, featuring their Highway 39 rivals, the Estevan Bruins, with the puck dropping at 7:30 p.m. at Crescent Point Place.
