In partnership with the Weyburn Soccer Association, instructors from the Saskatchewan Soccer Association visited a majority of the elementary schools in Weyburn this past week.

Each day they visited a new school and spent the entire day there using the students' physical education classes to teach them about the game of soccer and to promote being active in sport.

On Thursday, SSA instructors Garret LaBrush and Kyle Posehn, along with WSA president Jason Roy, were at Assiniboia Park Elementary school. They spent the day teaching the students simple techniques on how to do basic skills. The classes usually contained fun drills to help teach the skills, and at the end, they played a friendly game of soccer.
