Across the province schools in the 1A-3A categories played in conference play-offs. Weyburn is in the 5A category and did not have conference games so the Weyburn Comprehensive senior girls basketball team booked and hosted a couple of exhibition games. First the Eagles played Yorkton Regional on Friday night and won 72-52. Then on Saturday they played Harvest City and lost 83-56. Both games were great practice for SHSAA Regionals which may take place in Yorkton on March 13-14, if sanctions are lifted by 3:30 on Wednesday.
