Silver Seals compete at provincials in Humboldt

Eleven members of the Weyburn Silver Seals swim club travelled to Humboldt to compete in the 2011 Provincial Speed Swimming Finals on July 30 and 31. Steven Speers competed in the 15-17 year-old boys category.

Eleven members of the Weyburn Silver Seals swim club travelled to Humboldt to compete in the 2011 Provincial Speed Swimming Finals on July 30 and 31.

Steven Speers competed in the 15-17 year-old boys category. He received a gold medal in 200 free; silver in 100 fly and100 IM and bronze in 100 free and 100 back.

Dakken Bedore competed in the 13-14 year-old boys category. He collected gold medals for 200 free, 100 breast and 100 free and a bronze medal in 100 fly.

Callahan Huebner competed in the 13-14 year-old girls category. She received silver medals in 100 fly and 200 IM; bronze medals in 200 free, 100 free and 100 back.

Khloe Bedore competed in the 7-8 year-old girls category. She finished with a bronze medal in the 100 IM.

Other swimmers participating at provincials included: Olivia Bocian, Caitlin Davis, Rumina Edgerton, Ruslan Edgerton, Tyler Grieve, Page Speers and Devin Thomas-Perry.
