The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) has announced the rosters for the 2020 SJHL/MJHL Showcase and one Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings player has been chosen to represent the team at the games.
There will be three teams representing the SJHL at the Showcase. Team Schwartz (White) consists of 20 of the best players under 18 years old in the league. Team Mitchell (Yellow) and Team Kunitz (Blue) will each be comprised of 20 of the best players under 20 years old in the league.
18 year old Weyburn native, Braden Birnie, has been selected to play on Team Schwartz for the Showcase that runs Jan.21 and 22 at the Co-operators Centre in Regina SK.
Below is the basic scheduling for the Showcase with a more a detailed version to be updated shortly.
Tuesday January 21st
Game #1 11:00am to 1:30pm
Game #2 2:00pm to 4:30pm
Game #3 5:00pm to 7:30pm
Wednesday January 22nd
Game #1 10:00am to 12:30
Game #2 1:00pm to 3:30pm
Game #3 4:30pm to 6:30pm
All six games will be available on SaskTel Max & MaxTV Stream live Local 1 (Channel 48/348HD on maxTV, 48 on maxTV Stream).
