The Weyburn Strait Jackettes hosted a doubleheader of roller derby action on Saturday evening at the Weyburn Curling Rink.
The photos depict the efforts of the jammer (with the starred helmet) trying to get past the pack, and the blocker, in order to gain a lap and score points for their team.
The Strait Jackettes played against Team Green in White, a combination of skaters from Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and earlier in the evening, Team Sask took on Team Green in White for an exhibition match.
