Weyburn Synchro Stars Junior competitive athletes had a successful meet at the Diane Lemon Invitation Synchronized Swimming Meet, held at the Shaw Center in Saskatoon the weekend of March 3 and 4.
The 9 and 10 year team, coached by Alexis Vandermey and Tracey Rothwell, won the bronze medal in Team championship.
The team members included Olivia Pederson, Avery Wilson, Mya Periard, Rylie Gervais, Lily Popescu and Kabri Ozman.
The 11 and 12 year duet of Hailey Kirkpatrick and Payton Caldwell, coached by Mackenna Glennie, also brought home a bronze medal.
The Synchro Stars will now be focusing on preparing for Saskatchewan Provincials in Regina at the Lawson Aquatic Centre on the weekend of April 14 and 15.
