Red Wings goaltender Riley Lamb knocked aside a shot from point-blank range by the Humboldt Broncos’ Riker Franczak, No. 34, as Wings defenceman Tristan Petrie and centreman Sean Olson watched at right. The game was kept close by Lamb, and the Red Wings edged out the Broncos by a score of 2-0, in front of 1,090 fans at Crescent Point Place on Friday evening.
