The Estevan Speedway held their two-day Dirt Wars racing event over the weekend, and a number of Weyburn area drivers placed in the various feature races.
Round 1 was held on Saturday, starting with the IMCA hobby stock races. Connor Hansen of Torquay placed second, with Brent Skjerdal of Weyburn in 11th place, and Quentin Skjerdal of Weyburn in 14th.
In the IMCA sport mods, Adrian Dickie of Stoughton ended in 10th place.
For the IMCA stock car feature race, Gary Goudy Sr. of Stoughton finished in fifth place, and Gary Goudy Jr. did not finish.
In the IMCA modified feature race, Tyler Wagner of Weyburn placed in fourth; Kelly Bauman of Weyburn finished 10th overall and Stu Bauman of Weyburn was 14th.
In the Slingshots feature race, Jacek Ashworth was fifth, Brogan Wagner of Weyburn was ninth, and Jorja Ashworth did not finish.
In Round 2 on Sunday, in the IMCA hobby stock feature race, Connor Hansen placed fourth; Brent Skjerdal was 13th, and Quentin Skjerdal did not finish.
In the IMCA sport mods, Adrian Dickie did not finish the race.
For the IMCA stock car feature race, Gary Goudy Sr. placed sixth, and Lindsey Wagner of Weyburn was seventh.
