The Weyburn Artistic Swim Club took part in the Diane Lemon Invitational in Saskatoon held on Feb. 29 and March1. The athletes competed in both figures (individual) and routines. Everyone had a great showing.
The Senior team placed first for routine and first overall, bringing home the gold medals.
Figures placements are as follows: Marley Kradovill, 8th; Haley Copeland, 1st; Megan Dammann, third; Caitlin Graham, 9th; Payton Caldwell,16th.
The 12u team placed fourth in routine and fifth overall. The figures placements are as follows: Olivia Pederson, 27th; Avery Wilson, 31st; Kabri Ozmun, 28th; Mya Periard, 19th; Lily Popescu, 16th, and Rachel McGowan, 39.
The 15u team placed sixth for routine and sixth overall.
Figures placements are as follows: Kira King, 40th; Gracie Dzuba, 18th; Halena Paquet, 28th; Ella Leko, 19th.
Megan Dammann and Haley Copeland also brought home medals for Figures.
