Singles and doubles bowlers from Weyburn’s YBC bowling program have qualified to compete at the YBC provincials, to be held on March 1 in Saskatoon.
In the photo above, in the back row from left are Geri-Rae Callan, singles coach; Whitney Lanz-McIntyre and Alydia Hovanak, junior girls team, and Leslie Walliser, bantam boys coach. The two girls are coached by Kim McIntyre, who was missing from the photo.
In front are Gracelyn Callan, bantam girls singles bowler; Treshaun Ernst, bantam boys singles; and Kelsey Hovanak.
The bowlers competed at zones on Feb. 9, and qualified to advance on to provincials.
The group of youth bowlers gathered at the Super Bowl on Tuesday evening to practice for the provincials competition.
