The Weyburn Comp Eagles football team will host their first-ever “Friday Night Lights” game at the Weyburn Minor Football field, on Friday, Sept. 13, as they host their Highway 39 rivals, the Estevan Comp Elecs.

The game kicks off at 7 p.m., and there will be 50-50 draws and half-time prize contests. (The photo above shows the Comp Eagles playing after an early snow fell at the start of October last year.)

Admission for adults is $5 each, while students can get in for free.

The Weyburn Comp is asking the public to park on the street or in the WCS west parking lot and walk in, since the current weather has left the parking lot at WMF field a bit nasty.

The Comp will allow wheelchair parking or individual requests from elderly for the game, but general spectators are asked to use the school lot or the street.
