The Eagles lost in the final versus Rouleau.

“It was a good weekend overall as we were able to practice a new system that the boys had never done before. We have a young team this year but lots of potential,” said coach Cory Olson.

This year’s squad includes Grade 12 player Blake Anderson, and Grade 11 players Zach Olson, Jacob Butz, Rohan Haupstein, Mark Escario, Russ Schumlich, Graham Richards, Nic Hiltz, John Bernal and Charlie Pleckham.

Coming up on their tournament schedule will be a tournament on the Sept. 13-14 weekend in Estevan, then they are at the University of Saskatchewan for a tournament on the Sept. 20-21 weekend, and they will end off the month at Swift Current for a tournament on Sept. 27-28.
