Burt is the starting goalie for the Gold Wings and has played in 20 of their 29 games.

“Chloe is a solid goaltender and will be a key player for us immediately,” said recruiting coordinator Mike Smith. “She can play and seems like a nice kid and is a good student. We are excited to add her and can’t wait to get going.”

Dakota College Bottineau will play in Division II of the ACHA with Assiniboine Community College and North Dakota State University being the closest Division II rival. They will also have non-conference match-ups with Division I Minot State University.

There is a long history of hockey in Bottineau with the men’s team being arguably the most successful Junior College Hockey Program ever, winning 10 National NJCAA titles.

The team is hard at recruiting and busy scouting the Saskatchewan and Manitoba Midget AAA leagues as well as high school hockey in Minnesota and North Dakota.
