The Midget AAA Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Gold Wings announced six 2005-born signings.

During the offseason, general manager Kyle McDonald, head coach Chad Kish, and the rest of the scouting team have been hard at work preparing for another chapter of Gold Wings hockey.

The Gold Wings organization welcomed and signed the following players:

Goaltender Phoenix Preston-Winder of Neudorf, Sask., will be joining the Gold Wings after playing her U15 career with the Balcarres Barracudas. In 13 games last season, she posted a record of 7-5-1, earning two shutouts and a GAA of 3.00.

From Redvers, Chloe Stewart (shown in the photo above, signing with the team) played with the U15 AA South East Bert Baxter Transport Gold Wings in Weyburn, and scored two goals and earned four assists in 24 games.

Defenseman Julianne Girardin hails from Meyronne, Sask. Wrapping up her season with the U15 AA Swift Current Wildcats, she earned two goals and four assists from her spot on the blue line.

From Regina, defenseman Breez Classen dressed for all 24 games last season with the U15 AA Regina Rebels, where she collected four points.

Defenseman Emma Silvernagle had an impressive performance with the Parkland Fire last season, who had an undefeated 24-0 record last year. She finished off the season with 20 goals and 18 assists in 22 regular season games and acquired 37 PIMs.

The lone forward signed by the Gold Wings is Ashton Bender from Moosomin. Bender played with Silvernagle on the Parkland Fire and ended last season with 27 goals and 26 assists; good for 53 points in 24 games. She earned an additional 14 points in four playoff appearances. Bender was ranked No. 4 in the league for regular season points.
