A number of Weyburn golfers participated in the three-day 2020 Frametech Classic golf event held over the long weekend at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Club in Estevan, including two in the championship flight.
The top Weyburn golfer was Ty Mryglod who placed eighth in the championship flight, ending at six-over with rounds of 71-72-79 for a three-day total of 222. Mryglod also came in second in the Dave Price Memorial Horse Race, going the full 18 holes before being defeated by tournament champion Austin Dobrescu.
Carter Hilkewich placed 11th in the championship flight, ending at nine-over with rounds of 71-75-79 for a three-day total of 225.
In the first flight, Marshall Bakken placed third, ending at eight-over after shooting rounds of 75, 78 and 71 for a three-day total of 224.
Landon Emberley placed fifth in the first flight at 13-over, shooting daily rounds of 74, 75 and 80 for a total of 229.
Jaxon Chartrand placed fourth in the second flight at 19-over, after rounds of 79-78-78 for a three-day total of 235.
Weyburn junior golfer Darien Herlick placed first in the fourth flight, finishing at 34-over with rounds of 88-78-84 for a total gross of 250.
