It came down to the judges' decision for Weyburn MMA fighter Clayton Schira's third fight of his career at Honour Fight IV in Saskatoon June 7.

Schira went into his fight against Pete Albano of Medicine Hat with a 2-0 record. His first fight was at home at the Prestige Fight Club Fall Out event held at Crescent Point Place in September, 2013.

Against Pete Albano, it came down to a judges' decision, ruling in favour of Albano after two five minute rounds which also earned the title of Fight of the Night, bringing the crowd to its feet.

As an amateur fighter, Schira says he's a little disappointed in the decision against him, but he also has been upping the calibre of his opponents.

"I'm trying to up my competition by fighting a little more skilled and better fighters," he said.

Schira plans to take the summer to rest with his family and start training for fights in the fall.
