Weyburn Renegades to host to league championship game

The Weyburn Renegades won their semi-final game on Tuesday evening in the playoffs for the Borderline Men’s Fastball League, and will be playing in the championship game on Thursday evening at Tom Laing Park.

The Weyburn Renegades won their semi-final game on Tuesday evening in the playoffs for the Borderline Men’s Fastball League, and will be playing in the championship game on Thursday evening at Tom Laing Park.

The Renegades played the Oungre Jays at Tom Laing’s secondary diamond, and won handily by a score of 15-5.

In the other semi-final, Ogema defeated the Ceylon Angels by the score of 10-8, and Ogema will be facing Weyburn for the league championship.

This will be the final game of the shortened season for the Borderline fastball league.

Last week, in the last regular season games, Weyburn beat Oungre, Ceylon beat Gladmar and Ogema defeated Lake Alma, and due to their records, Weyburn and Ogema had the bye in Thursday evening’s quarter-final playoff games.
