The members of the Senior Men’s Club held their windup tournament on Sept. 17, and donated $400 to the Weyburn Golf Course’s irrigation project.

In photo No. 1, Kevin Bakken, left, received the coveted Ken Hill Senior Men’s Club Championship trophy as the overall senior men’s winner, from senior men’s club president Jack Jones at the windup for the Senior Men’s Club on Sept. 17.

 

In photo No. 2, Senior men’s golf club president Jack Jones, centre, congratulated the winners of the Mixer Tournament held on Sept. 17, Vic Plante, left, and Mickey Woodard. Woodard was also the masters winner for the season.

 

In the third photo, the presentation was made by the day’s winners, along with representatives of the Young Fellows Club

Representatives of the Young Fellows Club and the winners of the Senior Men’s Golf Club presented a donation totalling $400 to Brett Berkner, Weyburn Golf Club manager and pro, for the Golf Club’s irrigation project.

 

The Young Fellows members are Don Baillie, far left, and Scott Paxman, at right. The cheques were presented by senior men’s winner Kevin Bakken, left, and master’s winner Mickey Woodard. The donation was from the Senior Men’s windup tournament held on Sept. 17 at the Weyburn Golf Course.

The Young Fellows Club has sponsored the senior men’s club for the past five years.
