Several Weyburn wrestlers competed in the freshie to juvenile provincial tournament for the Saskatchewan Amateur Wrestling Association.
The event was held at the Weyburn Comp Eagles gym on Saturday.
The following is how local wrestlers finished the tournament. Dawson Runge won first in the cadet male 39 to 42 kilogram category. Austin LeBlanc took third in the cadet male 58 kg category.
Tyler Fleming placed second in the cadet male 63 kg category. Carter Barrett took second in the cadet male 69 kg category. Ryan Verbeem placed first in the cadet male 76 kg category.
Skylar Coderre took third in the cadet female 52 kg category. Katelyn Franklin took first in the cadet female 65 kg category. Makena Ricard placed second in the cadet female 80 kg category.
Brayden Roberts took fourth in the juvenile male 69 kg category. Braydon Johnston took sixth in the juvenile male 85 kg category. Daylin Cascagnette took second in the freshie male 19 to 21 kg category and third in the freshie male 21 to 23 kg category.
Kayden Duddy took third in the freshie male 29 to 31 kg category. Thomas Olson took fourth in the novice male 26 to 29 kg category. Karver Heustis took fourth in the novice male 30 to 31 kg category.
Travis Benning took third in the novice male 32 to 35 kg category. Raiden Kiraly took fourth in the novice male 41 to 43 kg category. Cale Mohan took third in the peewee male 32 to 34 kg category.
Liam Evans took first in the peewee male 35 to 38 kg category. Joran Gryde took third in the peewee male 37 to 38 kg category. Danny Fortune took fourth in the peewee male 51 to 53 kg category.
Kaelyn Bert took first in the peewee female 38 to 41 kg category. Allie Gawryluik took first in the peewee female 51 to 55 kg category. Eric Fleming took first in the bantam male 43 to 45 kg category.
Taelynn Bell took second in the bantam female 47 to 49 kg category. Faith Gryde took second in the bantam female 55 to 57 kg category. Makena Ricard took first in the bantam female 71 kg category.
