For the first time in the team’s history, the Yellow Grass Wheat Kings are the Big 6 League Champions. On Thursday night, the Wheat Kings and the Carnduff Devils met in Yellow Grass for game three of the league championship series. The Wheat Kings swept the series with a final 5-4 victory. Earlier, on Tuesday night, Yellow Grass won 3-2 in double-overtime in Carnduff, with the game-winning goal coming from Tucker Neuberger. They won the first game of the series, held in Yellow Grass, 6-4.
