Weyburn Minor Hockey will be celebrating Hockey Weekend in Saskatchewan on Friday to Sunday, January 20 to 22.
A number of minor hockey games will be featured at Crescent Point Place and the Tom Zandee Sports Arena during the Hockey Weekend.
At Crescent Point Place on Friday, Jan. 20, the Midget Wings will face the Capitals at 7 p.m., and the Steelers play the Thrashers at 9:30 p.m. At the Tom Zandee Sports Arena, the Midget Drillers will face Estevan at 7:45 p.m., and the Hawks play the Raiders at 10:15 p.m.
At Crescent Point Place on Saturday, Jan. 21, the bantam Wings will play Swift Current at 1:45 p.m., the peewee Youngfellows will host Moose Jaw at 4:15 p.m., and there will be Saturday Night Hockey at 10:15 p.m., following the Red Wings game against the Humboldt Broncos.
At the Tom Zandee Sports Arena, the AtoMc Gold will play the DQ Blizzards at 4:45 p.m., the Atom AM1190 will play Midale at 6:15 p.m., and the Bantam Co-op Wings will play Knight Dodge at 8 p.m.
At Crescent Point Place on Sunday, Jan. 22, the Bantam Wings will play Moose Jaw at 12:45 p.m., the Atom AM 1190 will play Yellow Grass at 3:!5 p.m., the Midget Drillers will host Moose Jaw at 5 p.m., the Midget Silverado will host Aldon at 7:30 p.m., and the Ambassadors take on the HSE Wasps at 10:15 p.m.
At the Tom Zandee Sports Arena, the Midget TS&M Oilers face Wood River at 12:15 p.m., the peewee Legion play Radville at 5 p.m., the AtoMc Gold play the DQ Blizzards at 7:15 p.m., and the Demons take on the Century 21 Wild at 9 p.m.
There is also a public skating event on Sunday, hosted by the Weyburn Young Fellows, at the Tom Zandee Sports Arena from 2:45 to 4:45 p.m.
