After a brawl broke out within the last minute of game play between the Weyburn Red Wings and the Flin Flon Bombers Saturday night, the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League conducted a two-day investigation over any video footage of the fight that surfaced.
Today the SJHL announced they have handed down seven counts of Supplementary Discipline.
Red Wings Head Coach, Wes Rudy, is suspended for one game with a $1,000 fine.
Ty Brown
Suspended for three games for fighting.
Jevon Schwean
Suspended for three games for fighting.
Riley Lamb
Suspended for three games for goaltender leaving the crease and fighting.
Flin Flon Bombers suspensions are to Pierce Diamond for three games, Matt Flodell for one game and Ryder Richmond for one game.
Brown, Schwean, Lamb and Rudy will sit out tonights away game against the Notre Dame Hounds. Rudy will return for Friday's home game against the Nipawin Hawks, but Brown, Schwean and Lamb will not return until the Red Wings away game on Tuesday, October 23rd against the Melfort Mustangs.
