Softball players receive awards

Softball players from local teams received their year-end awards, during the annual awards night for the Weyburn Minor Baseball Association.
For squirt Red Sox, Daija Nyhus won most improved, Hannah VanDeSype won all around teammate and Beau Chisholm won most valuable player. For squirt Blue Sox, Aimee Jones won most improved, Virginia Harazny won all around teammate and Ainsley Wanner won most valuable player. For squirt Steelers, Sara Kellyn won most improved, Ella Morken won all around teammate and Gracie Renner won most valuable player.
For squirt provincial Wild, Peyton Brenholen won most improved, Aimee Jones won all around teammate and Ainsley Wanner won most valuable player. For peewee Blue Jays, Jaelyn Paulhus won most improved, Dakota Bowler won all around teammate and Denae King won most valuable player. For peewee Red Sox, Macy Cugnet won most improved, Addison Klapak won all around teammate and Ayva Mason won most valuable player.
For peewee provincial Wild, Makenzie Barrie won most improved, Zoe Daley won all around teammate and Makenna Ling won most valuable player. For the ages 16 to 18 girls’ fastpitch, Jacey Rowland won most improved, Ashley Culham won all around teammate and Shaelyn Audette won most valuable player.
