Two Weyburn curling teams won at the Southeast Zone Playoffs in Lampman over the weekend for the right to represent the southeast at the upcoming Saskatchewan Winter Games.

Two Weyburn curling teams won at the Southeast Zone Playoffs in Lampman over the weekend for the right to represent the southeast at the upcoming Saskatchewan Winter Games.

Team Haupstein won four straight games, and Team Field won three straight games to become the zone representatives. The Winter Games will be held in North Battleford on February 18-24.

Team Haupstein includes skip Emily Haupstein, Shayla Moore, Emma Wiens and Abbey Johnson, with coaches Danette Tracey and Clare Johnson. Team Field includes skip Landon Field, Hunter Labbie, Keegan Woodard and Gregg Wiens, with coach Kim Wiens.
