This gallery shows a group of girls taking a ballet class at the "Jump Back Into Dance" camp held by the Dance Zone, wrapping up on Friday. This was first time students have been back in the studio since March 22. A total of 38 kids participated in the five-day event where classes were offered in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and lyrical. Ages 6-17 joined the dance studio for a week of training. The theme was “Social Dis-DANCING 2020 ~ Staying 3 Tutu's Apart”. Strict cleaning protocols were put into place to ensure the safe return of all students and staff. Students had staggered arrival and departure times, hand sanitation stations were set up at every entrance and studio. Studio floors were taped out to ensure social distancing was easy to detect for all ages, and every morning parents submitted a COVID questionnaire to ensure their child was not showing any signs of COVID. Regular classes will resume Thursday, September 10, with the staff and students following the safe return guidelines set out by the Canadian Dancer Teacher Association and the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
